About Karen

Karen is an experienced swimming instructor with 20 years of teaching experience, including 10 years in Switzerland. She obtained her swimming qualification and coaching certification in 2006 in South Africa. As a mother of four, Karen's passion for working with children and babies led her to pursue a career in swimming instruction. Over the years, she has expanded her teaching repertoire to include all age groups, from infants to adults, offering both individual and group lessons. Her primary focus when teaching young children is ensuring their survival skills in water. Karen believes in creating engaging and interactive lessons that foster a love for swimming. With her patient and nurturing approach, she always prioritizes her students' needs. Joining "K-swim" means more than just swimming lessons—it means becoming part of a vibrant swimming community and establishing a relationship with a dedicated and caring teacher.
